At Big Girl’s Barkery, we’re more than a small business — we’re a family with a purpose. Like many pet parents, we found ourselves searching for something better for our dog. Marley, our senior lab-mix and the heart behind our name, inspired us to rethink what a dog treat could and should be.
Most of what we found on store shelves was overly processed, full of unrecognizable ingredients, and lacked the love and intention we felt our dog deserved. So, we rolled up our sleeves, tied on the aprons, and started baking.
What began in our kitchen — just a handful of ingredients and a whole lot of care — quickly became a passion. We didn’t want just another dog treat brand. We wanted to create something real. Something with meaning. Something dogs would not only love, but benefit from.

Every treat starts with simple, wholesome ingredients you can pronounce. No preservatives, no fillers, and nothing artificial. Just real food for real dogs.
Small Batches, Big Love
We make all our treats in small batches right here in our North Carolina kitchen. That means better quality control, more consistency, and the ability to give each batch the attention it deserves.
Family-Owned and Operated
Big Girl’s Barkery is run by us — Chrissy, Philip, and Thea — a family who loves dogs and believes they should be treated like family. Marley, our Big Girl, was the first taste tester. Now, our newest pup Kodak has joined the quality control team.

For us, a dog treat is more than just a snack. It’s a moment of joy. A way to connect. A reward for a job well done or a simple “I love you.” We design our products with intention — to be as nutritious as they are delicious.
